Common faults and troubleshooting methods of mud pump
The BW250 mud pump refers to a mechanical device that delivers flushing fluids such as mud or water into the borehole during the drilling process. Mud pump is an important component of drilling equipment.
Causes: insufficient water injection, inability to exhaust air from the pump, air leakage from the suction pipe, and large gap between the front liner and the impeller
Solution: Continue to inject water, check the pipeline for air leakage, and adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front liner plate
Mud pump fault 2: pump filling slowly
Cause: The gap between the front liner and the impeller is large, the water outlet pipe cannot seal the air, and the exhaust is full
Solution: Adjust the clearance, adjust the water outlet pipe, and install a vacuum pumping device
Mud pump fault 3: low outlet pressure and low flow
Cause: There is air in the pump, the gap between the impeller and the front liner is large, the clutch is not tightly closed, and the impeller or liner is worn
Solution: Empty the gas in the pump, adjust the clearance, adjust the clutch friction plate clearance, and replace the impeller or liner plate
