Hex22mm / Hex25mm Rock Tapered Drill Rod, Blast Hole Drilling Tapered Rod. Tapered equipment affords drillers the ability to change drilling bits whilst still using the same drilling rod. Different taper sizes have different characteristics when it comes to the "knock-off" index - the smaller angle will prevent the bit from spinning.

Applications
The tapered drill rod is used for rock drilling, blasting holes and other drilling works connected with various drilling bits in the quarries, coal mines, traffic and other constructions. The normal size of each rod consists of Hex22*108mm shank + effective rod length + taper rod end (7°,11°,12°), with total length from 600mm to 9000mm. The connected body of tapered drill rod with drill bits (mainly button bits) is ideal drilling tool for drilling needs by granite & marble quarries, underground mining, for small blasting hole.
Note: The ordinary connection taper degree is 7º, 11º and 12º, other degrees like 4.8º, 6º and 9º are also available upon request.
Note: The ordinary shank is Hex22 × 108mm, Hex25 × 159mm and other styles are also available if upon customers' request.
Note: The rod length must be specified in order.
