Water Well Drill Rig​ parameters

Why is the water well drill not suitable for use in rainy days?

After the well is completed, it is necessary to pump water to check the results. Under normal circumstances, a deep drawdown pumping can be done. The water level stability lasts for at least eight hours. At the same time, the water flow at the dynamic water level of the well is measured. The well drilling works shall ensure smooth drainage of the construction site, so the rainy season shall be avoided. During excavation, the excavation slope shall be determined according to the physical and mechanical properties of the soil layer, generally 1:1.5. There shall be a certain distance between the toe of the spoil slope and the upper opening of the excavation. For large well with water inlet in the shaft wall, the inlet hole and inverted filter of the shaft wall must be arranged according to the design requirements, and the inlet hole shall be prevented from blocking during construction. The filter material enclosure at the aquifer shall meet the requirements. The backfill shall have a certain superelevation. The frozen soil in the backfill in winter shall not exceed 15%.
