On June 19, 2025, a professional customer in the mining field from Africa, visited the SHITAN Drilling Rig Factory in China for field inspection and technical exchanges. During this visit, the customer focused on the factory's core product, the rope coring drill rig, and gained an in-depth understanding of equipment such as water well drilling rigs and crawler chassis. The customer showed great interest in the excellent performance of our factory's drilling rigs and planned to introduce these professional equipment to his country to improve the efficiency of local mineral exploration and development and help the development of the mining economy.

In-depth inspection of the full hydraulic rope coring drill rig
Accompanied by our factory's technical team, the customer visited the manufacturing workshop of the rope coring drill rig in detail and learned about its performance measurement, operation and other key links. It is understood that this series of full hydraulic rope coring drill rigs has the advantages of high drilling efficiency, good coring quality, and adaptability to complex formations, which is particularly suitable for Zimbabwe's mineral exploration needs. The customer said: "our country is rich in mineral resources, but the exploration technology and equipment are relatively backward. Shitan's rope coring drill will help us conduct geological surveys more efficiently and provide reliable data support for mining development.

Focus on water well drilling rigs and crawler chassis
In addition to the fully hydraulic rope coring rig, the customer also had a comprehensive understanding of Shitan's water well drilling rigs and crawler chassis. The customer particularly appreciated the efficient drilling capability of the water well drilling rig and the strong off-road performance of the crawler chassis.

Discuss cooperation
At the technical exchange meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as equipment technical parameters, working condition adaptability, and after-sales service. Our factory stated that it will provide customized equipment solutions based on his special mineral geological conditions, and promised to provide professional technical training and after-sales support to ensure that the equipment can perform superbly in the local area. The customer said that it will actively promote cooperation and bring this to you as soon as possible. The first batch of advanced equipment was introduced into the Africa market.

This inspection activity not only deepened the understanding of  customers on the technical level of Chinese drilling equipment, but also created a good opportunity for our factory to further explore the African mining market. In the future, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the upgrading and development of mining exploration technology.
