The working principle of exploration drilling rig is mainly based on two methods: hydraulic transmission and mechanical transmission
Working principle of hydraulic transmission
The working principle of hydraulic transmission exploration drilling rig is to convert the mechanical energy of the electric motor into the pressure energy of the liquid, which is then converted into mechanical energy through the regulation of hydraulic components to drive the drilling tool for drilling, rotation, and propulsion operations. Specifically, the large pump supplies oil to drive the motor and power head to rotate, providing the necessary speed and torque; The small pump oil supply is responsible for the propulsion of the drilling tool, clamping of the gripper, and adjustment of the inclination angle of the main engine. By centrally manipulating hydraulic control valves, different drilling processes can be achieved to achieve the purpose of drilling.
Working principle of mechanical transmission
The mechanical transmission exploration drilling rig achieves drilling and lifting functions through mechanical components such as electric motors, worm gear systems, friction clutches, and chain wheel systems. The electric motor reduces the spindle speed through two-stage gear reduction, and converts rotational motion into linear motion through a worm gear system, friction clutch, and sprocket chain system. The host moves forward or backward on the rack through the engagement and disengagement of a double-sided friction clutch. When not engaged, the host only rotates and does not move forward or backward.
