It can also be used for drilling exploratory blast holes.

This drilling rig is effective in various geological conditions including plough layer, clay, sand seam, sand and stone seam, and sand/boulder beds in Quaternary overburden layers. It can obtain tube samples at varied depths and perform coring and boring operations in bedrock.
