Operation Guidelines

Pre-Operation Checklist

Fill suction pipe, bottom valve and pump body with water before starting
Fill the upper end of pressure gauge buffer with oil
Reciprocate piston twice before starting
Begin operation with no load and gradually increase after normal operation

During Operation

Frequently test mud sand content (must not exceed 10%)
Operate at several speeds during each shift (minimum 30 minutes per speed)
Never change speeds during operation - stop pump before shifting
Stop immediately if abnormal noise, water pressure, or temperature occurs

Shutdown Procedures

Stop pump at no load under normal conditions
For long-term shutdown: open all drain holes, loosen cylinder head, lift bottom valve drain rod
Completely drain all mud and sand from pump body and pipelines
Clean all parts of mud and oil dirt, drain crankcase lubricating oil
Apply anti-rust and anti-corrosion measures for storage
